Just finished installing my first CPU Watercooler, the Corsair h105.
The performance is great but there is one problem. I can hear a faint but clear buzzing noise coming from the pump. I know the noise is coming from the pump because when I unplug it from my system fan header the noise stops and when I plug it back in, it starts again. this is rather annoying because when browsing the web or doing other minor things the buzzing noise is the louder than any of my fans.
I have tried tightening the hand screws with a screw driver and this has had no effect. holding onto to the pump to reduce any vibrations that might be there also has no effect on the noise so I am certain the issues has nothing to do with vibrations. I also hooked the pump up to a Molex to 5v and 12v fan header and the same noise was made with both.
