H11 Main Beam Bulbs

The candles I currently have in the jam jars at the front of my i3 are rubbish and too yellowy for my liking, especially as it has LED dipped beam.

What's the best thing to get? I'd rather get something which illuminates the road properly rather than some fake xenons which make me look sick and stylish.

I used to use Osram Nightbreakers back when I was a pauper and couldn't afford cars with xenons, but those blew far too often so replaced them with Philips X-treme Visions.

I also see that there are some stupidly high 5000K Diamond Visions available for "off-road use only". Again, I want to be able to see the road, not make ladies wet at maccy d's.

Looks like Philips rebranded them. Not sure where the “G-force” bit comes in as they’re not claiming that the last longer.

Am into my second year with my current set of X-treme Vision H1/H7 combo in my Duster and while we don’t have big potholes around here, the roads are far from Bullard table smooth.

They might claim 130% light output, but I’d say they double the distance I can see to compared to the OEM bulbs and they throw an amazing amount of light out low to the sides to pick kerbs and ditches.

When this set fail, I’ll be buying another straight away unless I have a bucket full of recommendations for something better which is still U.K./EU road legal.

It seems that product might have been discontinued. Very difficult to find in H11!

The only decent Philips ones I'm finding are the ones that aren't legal in the :rolleyes:

Anyone have any experience with the Osram Nightbreakers? These are only for main beam anyway, as dipped beam is LED.
