H1Z1 - edges flicker/shimmer when I move?

Long story short I'm encountering a horrible problem. Whenever I move about in-game everything seems to flicker/shimmer. It's hard to explain. Such as buildings, trees and fences seem to flicker when I move.
I tired recording the problem but for some reason it doesn't even look half as bad in the video than what I'm seeing on my screen when playing. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77tec9VrqJc

As an example of what I'm actually seeing, watch this video, I know it's not the same game but this is exactly what I'm having! - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mn57t5p_QZ8

I did find a solution to fixing the problem. But this breaks the game for me, for example, I lost a solid 30-50 FPS when changing this setting and for some reason it feels like my bullets do not register.
What I did was go into the H1Z1 folder Useroptions and changed a setting called "HDPixelPlus=1.000000". If I change the value to "HDPixelPlus=2.000000" the flickering and shimmering almost dissppears, the game looks perfect visually. But as I stated before I lose a ton of FPS and in-game shooting doesn't feel... efficient as if I had the HDPixelPlus setting on default.

I do hope I made sense out of this, I haven't slept. I've tried so many solutions to fix this.

List of solutions I've tried.

- different monitor
- different GPU
- messed with AA settings and Vsync in NVIDIA control panel
- changed res and video settings
- updated my drivers. (i uninstalled a installed my drivers so many times)

What can I do to fix this problem? Every other person who owns this game such as streamers all game HDPixelPlus=1.0000000 setting, nobody has to change it like I did to fix the flicker/shimmer problem.

Please help me!

Are you sure its not just the nature of the game? what settings are you using?

These games based of games such as ARMA 3 are VERY intensive games, without a decent resolution and AA they can look incredibly pixelated etc

Is this a problem in other games or just H1Z1? It definitely looks like an AA problem in the video but to be honest at 1080 i saw this in plenty of games that had a slider for quality of objects depending on distance to the player. Ive never played H1Z1 so im not sure if such a setting exists in the game?

Only for H1Z1 it seems. I'm just confused it's broken for me and not others. There is not AA option whatsoever.
When I play Overwatch or BF1 nothing like this occurs. Very weird and very annoying to play with.

H1Z1 doesn't have AA, or an option to enable it in-game. Try setting HDPixelPlus setting to 1.10000, any more and you're effectively over-rendering to the point of losing too much FPS, especially in towns.

I run it at 1440p and I get a bit of shimmering as present in your video, especially on far-off staircases. Can't recall it looking as noticeable as yours though when I did play it at 1080p...

ps - Never tried forcing AA via the Nvidia control panel...but seen you've tried that already :/
