Certainly is! I'll never forget the look on some faces when folks turned up all dressed up to the nines and I just turned up in my flip flops

Flip flops are the way forward. No idea why you'd wear any other footwear when it's over 20c out. It's even better when you can open a beer with them.

Read the full article, particularly liked the Met Offices "What to do after a storm" bit, apparently you should avoid downed power lines, well blow me if I hadn't read that I would never have considered a downed power line to be dangerous.
