Okay...

I'm in a light hearted mood this evening and thought it was time I let you all in on a little project I am doing. I am fully aware that this thread will likely be a contender for the 'weirdest thread of the year' award but that doesn't bother me.

So ladies and gentleman, without further ado; may I introduce to you all...

Haar de Rasenkopf!

Now I actually have no idea if that is spelled correctly but I seem to remember something similar being on the packaging so this is what we will use to refer to the little chap from now on.

Take a look...

He was bought for me by my lovely girlfriend as a 'joke' present. She knows my sense of humour well. He is a crazy little blighter with seeds embedded in to his skull; grass seeds no less. The instructions said to soak him in water for 3 minutes. Most excited, I complied without hesitation. I was then instructed to fill his little pot with water and sit him on top.

There he sat for a couple of days. I checked the cheeky chap every morning and by the end of the third day my patience had been rewarded!

Here was the result...

It's alive!!! I now know how it feels to be a parent.

Another few days later and...

Incredible! He has truly become a member of the family now. I am most intrigued to see how he will develop over the coming weeks. I figured those of you who share my enthusiasm for this project would also be interested. I will post regular updates to this thread with photographs showing the adventures he gets up to throughout his childhood. I may even take him on holiday this year, i'm sure he will enjoy Las Vegas as much as I will.

Disclaimer: Yes I am completely mad.

Remember that peroid when Friends started and all the females were asking for 'The Rachel' haircut.

I do believe we have a male contender... "The Rasenkopf"

Heads down to the Barbers

LOL maybe I should give him a haircut when it gets really long. Platt it or something. :p

I suggest completely defeating the whole point of the little fella and shaving his head. Real man and all that. Make him a little leather jacket and put an onion ring through his nose. Hard.

Lmao! The leather jacket is a great idea. Perhaps a miniature guitar also? I may actually try a set of clippers on him at some point. :p

Rock on!!!

After thoroughly wearing himself out playing a rendition of Jimi Hendrix's 'Little Wing' I tucked him up in bed.

Good for cruising around in and picking up the ladies. He has promised to keep his back seat antics to a minimum though.

Poor George again not getting the credit he deserves. While My Guitar Gently Weeps and My Sweet Lord are classics :p

You'll have no argument there. Lets not forget 'Taxman' and 'Something'. :)

You say "now i know how it feels to be a parent"

Whilst showing pics of your bathroom with a box of "Kandoo" in the corner?

So is it you or the missus who's a big boy?

LMAO i'm suprised no-one noticed that earlier. There is a story about that...

About 6 months ago I had finished doing a number two only to realise I was out of loo roll. I looked around the bathroom and came across a packet of what I thought were 'baby wipes'. "Oooh that should do the trick" I thought to myself and proceeded to wipe myself squeeky clean.

Unfortunately they weren't baby wipes. They were bleach wipes. It stung like hell.

Anyway... My girlfriend obviously found this utterly hilarious and bought me some Kandoo baby wipes to wind me up even further. They do feel nice though! :p :D

The Rasenkopfather. I like. :)

It seems Mr. Rasenkopf has got up to a lot more than I had first suspected. I think we could all learn a lot from him with regards to drive and ambition.

The hair growth was pretty fast for 3 days... did you use any mustard by any chance? (or any other condiments?)

Nope it just sprouted most unexpectedly!

That Einstein pic is sublime. :D

I've officially lost the plot. Sitting up at almost midnight, photoshopping what looks like a potato into the place of an entirely different potato. I bid you goodnight.

Genius. :D
