I have a sharp laptop which i bought a couple of years ago, its an Athlon XP1600 and uses an Insyde Software SCU BIOS.

It is very limited and I wondered if there is anyway to hack/flash the BIOS with a view to overclocking the mobile athlon inside?

I had such good success with my desktop XPM2500 that I wanted to give it a try with this.

Bit of a shot in the dark I know but im struggling to find any info online.

CPUs produce a lot of heat, and removing that heat when you've only got about 15mm of height to play with is quite a challenge. Most laptop coolers struggle to cool their cpus at stock.
Overclocking it increases the heat output a lot, almost certainly far more than any laptop cooling system can cope with. If it can cope with it, it won't be much.
