Had a go at a proper stop motion animation today...

Was not a donut, the car exited at a different angle to the horizontal component of the table than it entered. It was <360 rotation.

Watch again, the car points in every direction before exiting in the direction it came in at, if anything it went a little over 360 degrees.

I'd have moved got bored and started something else within 30 minutes

That's probably what would've happened had I stuck with my original idea. I wanted to do a drag strip with Lego gantry lights and a Lego crowd group at the start and finish. Quite glad I didn't attempt that now :D

Of the approx. 4 hours I put into this, 60% of that was editing. I was taking 1 frame roughly every 8-10 seconds, so that part of the job went surprisingly quickly.

...featuring a Matchbox Caterham toy car :)

So far I've learned that my spotlight sucks and makes everything look yellow, and I need to use more/less distance between shots to create a better illusion of speed. Oh, and maybe come up with a better plot! Still, it's been raining today so it's kept me busy ;)

Hahaha very good! Vroooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom!
