This. Also you could try updating the prospective new employer to say that your circumstances are on the verge of changing over what notice period you need to give and that you wanted to keep them updated. It might help them make a decision quicker, unless there are still interviewing, of course.
Have informed my agent who will update them.
They are interviewing the last guy today so they'll start deciding after that.

For once in my life i've come first and not second! Apparantly it was a unanimous decision which means they all liked me!
