Had the Z4 a week now. Bit of a write-up with pics.

Yeah the tango doesn't suit it, but I am sure there is a facelift/aero style front that looks good imo.

I don't have a picture of the front from absoloute dead on of mine, but this might be close enough give you an idea of the face-lifted/skirted front end.

To the OP, congratulations on your car. I hope the weather picks up so you can enjoy some top-down motoring.

Oooh BigT, are you going to make it to any of the meet's this year? I would love a passenger ride and a look around the car as I think that is my planned upgrade path :D

Don't suppose you are down south? or have written a thread about your car I can read?

I might try and make one if time allows. I always seem to have something planned when the threads come up. My brother has a 350Z, but one of the earlier ones so presumably not as much power as yours. He felt the ///M to be a fair bit quicker and a bit more raw than his 350. Not sure how big the actual difference is in numbers, but I think the noise and sensations are heightened in the ///M to make it feel much faster than it is (although clearly it is not slow).

And I'm based in South London. Happy to show you round the car if you're ever in the area.

Cheers, I shall have a read now.

My car is about 30 bhp up on the earliest model and has a higher rev limit. Although, to be honest, I think it is just a case of making sure that when I do upgrade it's moving to something different (E.G Convertible) and of a similar-if-not-better performance. I juggled between the Z4 3.0i and the 350z.

The other option is to get a Caterham for the weekends/track toy and keep the zed.

There is a southern meet soon which I should convince you to come to in Winchester...

**Sorry OP for taking this off topic**

Not yet no :D Doesn't hurt to start planning what to spend my bonus on for next summer though!

Still seems early but I guess everyone is different. I like to keep cars for as long as I can - that way I really get to know them and really get to enjoy them before moving them on :)

That makes sense, but then I had a Golf for 2.5 years and nothing else...so you can see why I would want to try new things! I kinda want to enjoy lots of nice cars before our government bans any form of fun or petrol guzzling all together and enjoy it while I am young :)

Do the Z4M wheels actually fit the regular Z4?

Yes, but it appears you need to use standard Z4 tyres to prevent rubbing on bumps/sharp corners. There are 1/2 folks over at Z4F who have got Z4M wheels on their Z4, but not too many.
