Hairy Backs!!!

shave = prickly rergowth in a few days
hair removal cream = finer ends, not asprickly.. regrowth takes longer
wax = finer ends, not prickly regrowth takes even longer to come back
laser = semi permanent but treatment expensive. also depends on his skin colour as to how effective it is

You missed out electroylosis. Stops the hair from ever growing back.

TTIUWP!!! someone had to say it :D

Ok, a 'good friend' of mine (who turned 26 back in December) has started to notice an increase in hair on his back. Dark hair, whilst not sprouting out everywhere, its noticeable, and he is concious of it with summer coming up...

Hes had a hairy chest since about 18/19 and has always kept it trim, but obviously, even if you could 'trim' back hair, it would look silly.

So,...........what is the best way to dispose of said hair, and regain his nice smooth back

(he knows it will regrow, but as long as the solution is quick, easy, doesnt cost a lot and is something he can do himself)

I will tell him your suggestions as they arise!! :o

Doesn't he have his own computer forum he can ask this on... I'm seriously worried that you are concerned enough about your "friend" and his hairy back to post this on a public forum...

I use that Veet for men hair removal gel. It's good stuff. Although I did get a bit carried away and removed hair from back, shoulders, arms & legs.

Yes, I am a tart.

Hair only gets thicker after the first time it's shaven to the skin, after that it stays the same thickness.

I've shaven my back in the past, if you have a long reach electric shaver it's possible to keep it trimmed with just 5mins/day. You'll need a long razer to cut it off the first time though (takes about 20mins).

Yes it's possible with some fiddly arm waving, but it does work rather well. I did it for charity, people said it couldn't be done so I had to prove them wrong :D

I got mine waxed the other week. Bottom bits were fine, as you get up towards the head it starts to pinch a bit :o But my back's gorgeous now darlings.

Urban legend tbh :p

I've never been with a woman who says euugh i'm off.

You might not get a 2nd date out of some but sometimes that's for the best :p

Women shave more than men, their armpits, legs bikini.

I get my back waxed but not for my wife for me.

It's easier in the summer to get suntan lotion on it and doesn't go all sticky etc. Also the hair does grow in thinner after 3-4 waxings it's not so sore.

As for the spots you only get them if it's a noob that waxed. A professional therapist will wax properly and you'll feel less pain and get less spots. My therapist is in her late 30s and great at waxing. I did try the trendy salons with great looking 20 year olds but they can't wax good and i'm sore and spotty after.
