Wait, should you cook the sausages normally first and then boil them with the spaghetti or will just boiling them do the trick? I'm such a cooking noob.

The sausages in question are already cooked and "ready to eat". You just spear them throuh with the spaghetti, and put the hairy sausage in a pot and simmer until the spaghetti is cooked.
