It's VAT, so it's a reasonable sum. However I'm hoping valve allow people to buy each game separately, as some people are not going to want Portal or TF2, and likewise some TF2 fans may not want to bother at all with Episode 2.

Because some people may not own Half-Life 2, like the 360/PS3 people for example. Also it's quite a good value package if you don't own Half-Life 2, as you're getting Half-Life 2 and Episdoe One for an extra £12.

wow didnt even know hl2 was coming out for ps3 never mind the other valve stuff

wont hl2 look a bit dated on the 360 and ps3 ?

have they used bigger textures or anything ?

the bigger ones in those packs you can get on the net made the pc version look a whole lot better

Personally i wasnt keen on HL2 as a game, it just didnt capture me like the first one did. The engine was worth it though. As such ive never bothered with Episode 1, so wont be getting Episode 2 but i desperately want TF2.

Im really looking forward to that, just hope that they sell it seperately.

Dunno, I thought that was probably the hardest bit of the game to be fair. Certainly stuck in the memory as being something I needed a fair few attempts on.

Ooh will give that hi-res pack a try. I'll be getting the black box, although i was hoping for a pack with just episodes 1 and 2 with the other stuff. I already own HL2 and don't really need another copy, suppose i could always sell it.
