Half Life 3 Confirmed?

Well, 25 years of games playing here, and i think its toilet.

I thought it was poor when it was released and i think its poor now.

Chances are they are working on Half-Life "3" (should be 4) now, as they are only doing episode 3 themselves then 4 is getting done by another company.

As long as the HL3 engine does not induce sickness like the source engine did in HL2, i will look forward to it.

And i agree with the view HL2 was overrated, HL was a far superior game at the time IMO.

edit: Ah, if you go to the StuffWeLike page, you can see that they're the ones who made that original assumption, and now have issued updates saying essentially "Uh.. yeah.. might not actually be a full Half-Life 3 thing."

Its like the poster there says (in the link, go to the comments). He didn't actually confirm Half Life 3, just another game in the Universe. It seems to me that Doug gave a vague answer and everyone assumed he was talking about HL3.
