he does speak the truth whether you want to agree or not , in all online games there will be to55ers who exploit cheat or hack
ive seen a few people cheat in nearly every online game ive played in, mostly on pub servers

if its your server kick ban them , if not then move along and play in a diff server, it happens , there complete richard heads

Get real... if i opened a new thread on every cheater i saw in a random public the site would crash

And ive played in many respectable teams, latest clan i was in was Reason-Gaming for cod2, had an offer to join dignitas and i play in the nations cup for team UK in cod2

I just don't see the need to open a thread and go on about 1 cheater like it's a rare occurance

^^ tango is indeed correct. For some reason everyone seems to think that cheaters are player who absolutely suck at the game so cheat very obviously to do good. Theres another element who are good at the game but use cheating to give them that extra edge. Clanning in online games is extremely competitive! especially where young teenagers are concerned (with somewhat fragile egos). An experienced player can easily hide the cheats they have.

Not everything is black and not everything is white. There is a heck of a lot of space in between. Its easier to condem or praise someone and fit them into that category but harder if they do not fit into either. And life is not so black and white....... let the cards fall as they may...(dont put them into 2 limited boxes)

ok am going to take it that u never really read my first post so let me explain it to u again in slow mo for u, i started this thread so that every one who has encountered a cheater and managed to get a screeny of it can post it up here for people to see and keep an eye out for that person in that game, the fact that your whining about someone posting a thread about cheaters leads me to believe (though i might be wrong) that u could be a cheater in online gaming yourselve and your worried that u will end up in a thread like this :D

no offence but i dont think you understand what tango said.

The strategy of naming and shaming cheaters in this way has been done many many times and is not effective. Believe me you are not the first person to have found a cheater. This strategy and others have been tried why should you succeed when everyone else has failed?

I think tango recognised it as being futile in the war against cheaters although i understand it might make the person (in this case yourself) posting the screenshot about the cheater feel a bit better in your own personal battle but in the overall war and strategy it is utterly futile and is NOT a deterrent against cheaters at all.

He wasnt whining at all and to suddenly think that just because someone doubts the method of your approach to cheating (hall of shame) you start to think they might be a cheater also is rather narrow-minded no?

anyway if it makes you feel better go to it and continue regardless what other people may think anyway! :D

was free for ages, then the co re-relesed the game as a pay to play thing re badged as something else. iirc you can play on the german servers for free still.
 
i remember when peeps used interpolate scripts in Tribes 2 giving them a massive advantage
thing is everytime a new protection method comes out, the hackers/exploiters always find a way to circumvent it
and they know that these low life cheats will glady pay money to buy their hacks ..

hahaha, in the 8 years of playing online games ive never downloaded a cheat for anything, and ive played right near the top in every game ive played

i just dont see the point in screenshotting someone and telling us all about him who is probably using a fakenick anyway, its just 1 cheater, today you go into a server you might see 1 or 2 more ... yay lets post their nicknames ...

it wont get you anywhere

oh and good post surfer you hit the nail on the head
