Damn I was not expecting that bit at the beginning with the boy falling, gruesome!

Got a few laughs, me included at the showing i was at, it just looked so totally over the top to propel him the way it did.

The bit with the tongue also had quite a few laughing, again me included. :p

I just finished it. I had it on pause for ages while I did other things, anyway it was pretty crap throughout but the ending was alright I guess... Sort of made up for the dross in a way.

He's definitely dead now after being minced in a machine but as Laurie said when she was writing her journal on the pc, evil changes shape.... So who knows what they'll do next. Great ending credits songs though haha

Plus his mask was sitting in her room as well.

It was a weird movie in a lot of ways, they at one point seemed to be considering the "thorn" subplot from the older movies where the "curse" could be passed on. I half expected Myers to somehow transfer himself into Coreys body so he was younger and able to basically start over, especially after that scene where Myers grabs him by the throat and seems to look into his mind.

There seemed to be more of a supernatural element to Myers this time around as well, at one point he was barely standing, then as he killed the cop you seen him regain his strength during and after the kill. It used to just show him being resiliant to pain, this movie one upped that with the cop killing scene. It's the first time we've seen him basically useless then re-energising essentially.

It's interesting though that the rumours way earlier in the year of Myers in this being a copycat killer sort of did pan out with Corey making a few kills in full Myers garb.

Just watched this with my boys. One of the worst films I've seen in a long time. Rubbish story and frankly ridiculous things occurred throughout. We all nearly walked out twice.

You must not have seen the previous movie then if you think this was ridiculous :p

They really need to end it with him being minced up in an industrial mincing machine, then liquefied with acid and then for good measure fired into the sun..

I will be happy that it will be the end then.. :D[/SPOILER]
You got what you wanted :p

I don't understand
even why Myers just ..went away?...he killed the daughter at the end of the last, then...."meh..bit tired...best go lay down some sewer"...the f?....Best thing was he was constant pace relentless.
Laurie, My daughter was just brutally killed by Myers, best go have a nice normal life now, even though they never killed Myers, but its cool, I'm sure he's just happy being gone.
Since when could Myers bloody well read minds lol?
Where was the entire police element in this? Halloween always had a big cat and mouse chase about it, "Corey" pretty much left his prints (painfully so) all over the damn place!)
Dumb ass grand daughter who lost both her parents to Myers being such a dunce, NO suspicions at all, none nopity nopy nope. And how ******* long where they even dating for?, from the time passed in editing you would have thought they were dating for many months, but the editing here was SO bad I didnt know if it was one week or a year, but they show photo mementos of being together etc...the hell did all that happen?, considering you wasted 1hr of the first act showing essentially...nothing.

The start as it was showing you things happening about the community, I was going to think or hope that the idea of Myers would go rampent and ruin and overall destroy the entire community, ramp with fear then witch hunting and paranoia etc, that could have been fun to explore.

I think the end of kills was basically Myers in survival mode to survive the mob and that weakened him severely, he was shot, beaten, stabbed near the spine etc, he summed up enough strength to take them down and then Karen, but after that he went into hiding as he was spent. Considering how he is in this it seems to have weakened him to the point of being near useless, he wasn't the same Myers in this as evidenced by his confrontations with Corey and the fight with Lorie, he seemed a lot more vulnerable and not even remotely as resiliant. His only Myers-esque kill was to the small girl the doctor was trying to bone, which isn't saying much.

It was a bit weird how he seemed to basically "hulk up" during his encounter with the cop, he was stumbling about at the start of the fight and got stronger as he stabbed him and killed him, but even then he was nowhere neaar full strength, if he had been Corey would have never been able to put him to the ground and take the mask. Just seems age and injuries sustained caught up with him in the end.

Yes....thats a good take, but then why not SHOW something of that effect..a small flash back of him stumbling..breathing hard/ bleeding..crawling into the sewer to drop down etc..snap back to present day. I get that we shoulndt be hand held in film, I do hate it, but when its Myers, at the end of the second film ( of this trilogy) you are basically left thinking he is more than a "man" and more a personification of just unrelenting evil.
