Does Crucial RealSSD M4 128GB 2.5 come with the latest firmware 0009 or do I have to updating firmware myself ?

Great I will order it tomorrow for Tuesday! I believe that Crucial RealSSD M4 are the best SSD better than OCZ.

Do some of them already updated to 0009 have the firmware version as 0002 on the back? As I bought an M4 256GB from OcUK (one advertised as having the 0009 firmware update) but the back says 0002.

That we put in the latest news section of few months back. The M4 although slower on writes destroys!

Thats where the true speed of an ssd resides.

Andrew, sorry to be a pain, but are the 64GB drives being shipped with 009 firmware? Just want to get the disc ready if I am going to have to do it myself.

128, 256 and 512 should all be on 0009 now, 64 may be on either 0002 or 0009 as stock is mixed to to how popular they are ate constant restocked stock getting mixed in with the old.

Received a 64 last week from ocuk was 002, but the flash process was painless to 009.

Cheers for that. Going to prep the disc ready for the build on Saturday. Bagged me a mobo from these sales as well.
