I sold halo 2 + the guide for £7 last week.

Burnout 3 for £3 and pgr2 for 50p or something!

Made me cry!

People don't 'sell stuff cheap' on ebay, they sell it for what people will pay for it. Xbox/PS2 games sell cheaply because there is a very large used market for games. I have sold many console games myself, when it's a game I've finished with for whatever reason, but it's nothing to do with the 'next gen', it's to do with getting some cash back for something I don't want any more You seem to have inferred that people selling Xbox games must be doing so because they have/are getting a 360.

Well I know pre-360 there were a hell of a lot more games for £5-7 rather than £0-5 but if you want to argue a really irrelevant point that's your problem
All I know is, games seem to be selling a lot cheaper lately on ebay and I like it.

I'd just like to mention this to VGA owners out there, since my Halo2 arrived through the postie yesterday.

Upon running Halo2 the game fetches an update as it should, but then it tries to update itself once again - this second update will throw up a warning msg if your 360 is set to PAL50 and you're using VGA. So you'll have to either hook up your console to a component/composite screen and set PAL to 60. It seems the updater itself doesn't like VGA.

Ended up updating with the 360 hooked upto a useless 10" composite tv and then gping back to vga as normal.

So basically update the game using component/composite first with the 2 updates, turn off console, connect the VGA cable back in and it should work fine?

Quite. I use the achievements on the 360 as targets for the games, something to achieve. Not bothered about my actual score.

To not buy classic Xbox games just because they dont update your score is missing out on some bargain entertainment.

Im currently looking at getting the 2nd and 3rd Splinter Cell games from the Xbox as Ive only cmpleted the 1st one. One thing Ill say on the old(er) games is that everyone should buy Monkey Ball Deluxe. Simple as that.
