Halo 2 Problems

I cant install Halo 2
The autorun works and tell it to install. Then the autorun thing clocses and nothing else happens. Has anyone solved/know why this problem happens?

my halo 2 installed fine. is there a setup.exe file on the disk, try that

there is not. the disk must be damaged maybe because there is no setup.exe

I also dont have a setup.exe file. The only other thing I can think of is to copy the disk to your hard drive and try running it from there.

Again, please use edit. Seeing your sig about 5 times on one page isn't good for the eyes.

Try either returning it and getting a replacement, or try it on a different computer? Could be your DVD drive.

tried it on a different computer. Seems other people on google are having similar problems but no solution. Must be drivers. Oh well

It only works on Vista, Microsoft = fail.

Microsoft do not equal fail you moron. All games have problems when they first come out and just because this one is made by Ms, people start having a go.

I was having problems with my copy Ross, but it was crashing issues when I would join a Live game.

I tried a lot of things but weirdly enough the thing that fixed it was my video card drivers (I downloaded the newest ones from ATi). I would expect MS will be bringing out an update very soon as there are a few people having problems

They fail because they made a potentially good game exclusively for Vista, when it could be running on ME... It's sad.
