Yes, but I completed 4 player coop on legendary whilst spending the whole time chucking all my grenades at one of my team. The difficulty doesn't scale with the number of players.

amazing game though for £20 when you get past the aspect ratio issue not even tried online yet!

It may not be challenging, but it is amazing fun. Especially when someone accidentally team kills and everybody turns on each other
