Aye, completed it on all difficultues (on co-op) have not played the first one all the way through or the second one though.

I like fast paced action FPS games, stuff like UT99 and old skool quake. Half Life deathmatch also. When Halo came along with its 'heavy' gameplay and beefed up 'fatter' style graphics, and slow feel, it was incredibly successfull, especially with the lardy Americans who couldnt play proper FPS games as there reactions were to slow. But, as with all things successfull, they got copied, and since then most FPS developers have tried to make their game 'Halo like', (see UT2k4, UT3, etc etc) and this has just ruined the genre. Im just glad that Valve didnt get sucked in and kept with some clean, crisp gameplay in games like TF2.

Aye thats probably a good strategy, The only Halo type game we will see on the 360 is Halo Wars imo. Halo 4/Gears 3 will be on the next console.

So, your not allowed to hate a game as that makes your sad? So im not allowed to dislike anything? or is it just limted to games?

I know its popular, I know its sold a lot, that isnt what bothers me. What bothers me is that most game designers have copied it, meaning the FPS market is just full of Halo clones, a game/style of game which I dont like.

Is this opinion Kalanium certified? Or must I withdraw it as it brands me as 'sad'?
 
I want bungie to make a completely new game. Imagine what they could do if they weren't restricted by the halo universe and gameplay.
 
I just find it quite pathetic that you have to hate something, and before you start nobody said you can't dislike it. If you dont like the game just move on, there is no point in coming in here whining about it.

And it ruined the FPS genre? :rolleyes: No single game ruins any genre.

Yes a lot have tried to copy Halo, but how the hell is that Bungie or even the games fault?
 
This is ridiculous. Bungies next game won't be Halo 4, 95% sure.

Can't wait for Halo Wars though, that looks so sweet. We'll be hearing more about that and the Peter Jackson Halo project I think at E3.
