I set the min and max frame rate to 240 and that fixed it for me. I found the same using my 3080TI at 150ish FPS, with my monitor running 165hz. Bumping the FPS made it feel much smoother.

Did these, dropping the quality settings had litle effect on how the game look, in multiplayer anyway. Also looks better without HDR for me.

Upgraded to Windows 11, and now my FPS dropped by about 10 :/

I seem to have become weirdly addicted to this even though playing with a game pad puts me at a disadvantage.

Had a game last night in which one guy got 51 kills and 3 deaths. Convinced he was cheating, I found the theatre and replayed the whole game from his point of view. What a clever system! Never seen something like this before (although I’m not a big MP fan). Very interesting watching how other people play. Turns out he was just always in the right place at the right time and a good shot.

Does it? I always throught a gamepad in Halo put you at an advantage.
