Very true, if people are struggling on normal (heroic) difficulty then I'd love to see how they handle hard (legendary).

Games have become far too easy these days.

Really agree with this. The AI on CE seems really good - has this been upgraded or is it how it was originally? The mix of enemies also makes it challenging with the different tactics needed for each one. Really refreshing.

Not tried any online yet sounds like some real issues going on there which is a shame. Hopefully will be sorted soon.
 
The AI is exactly as it was, I certainly dont remember how tough it was, im thinking of dropping mine down to easy, soley as I enjoy playing the story and want to go through the campaigns in a quick enough time.

I honestly have no idea how I did it on the harder levels in my youth.
 
AI is spot on. Playing through CE just now, but died a fair few times. Now I just retreat and hide until health regerates and hope they AI dont come after me ;)
 
THe Brutes are a lot more clever than I remember, had one tactically retreat putting shots into him..run a long distance to wait for me in the corner of a corridor.

Also, im pretty damn sure shields charged faster than this in my youth lol.
 
Took like 3 hours to get through Cairo Station on legendary last night. I'm not finding it particularly hard it just when you get stuck behind a checkpoint with the wrong guns or low ammo then elites are seemingly invincible without a plasma pistol.

The guardians on Outskirts took a few attempts though. 8 plasma grenades in quick succession finally did the trick.
 
Ive managed to get a few games in this afternoon, lag and rubberbanding in some but damn ive missed classic halo multiplayer!
 
Is the multiplayer matchmaking still broken. Been trying to connect to Halo 2 Anniversary Team game for 5 minutes now and nothing?

....woah, hold fire seems to have connected now!
 
Dear lord I forgot how hard Halo CE on Legendary is.... how the hell did I do it all those years ago?!
It feels like I've got a pea shooter :( oh and the enemies are SUPER aggressive, on to mission 4 or 5 now.

Online is working better at the server end than it was yesterday for me, but unfortunately my internet keeps randomly disconnecting...which is infuriating given that I've taken time off work to play this. :mad:
 
I have got this now started playing the CE edition on heroic and it's proving tough. I only played 3,4 and reach so I'm loving this. I just want multiplayer to work now.

Urgh they need to patch this quickly. The multiplayer is just broken. I'd say 1/4 games it crashes in the loading screen straight after. Sometimes it just won't look for a match. And when you do get in at least half of my games have uneven teams. How ******* hard is it :(
