***Halo MCC***

Ordered my Xbox One + MCC bundle the other day.
Halo is the only reason for me to buy the console. And I look forward to future games in the series.

I'd love if this was released on PC. Day one purchase if it ever happened - unlikely. :(

Role on the 14th + Silent Cartographer + week long holiday. :)

At least with this we know what to expect, as opposed to new ip's where we build hype and then play them and they end up being crap.

What I liked about Halo is it managed to do both single player and multi-player well as opposed to many games nowadays that have half arsed single player campaigns.

Plus the a.i in halo is some of the best or certainly most entertaining I've seen.

And lastly the value, oh the value of everything you get on one disc.....
 
This was part of my xbox bundle when i picked up my console with destiny. Very much looking forward to smashing through ALLLLL the chiefs campaigns on the opening few days hahaha. Love the new sniper noise and the cutscenes look insane compared to the older ones. Very happy indeed.
 
Thing is I was wondering, see as so much effort was put in, do I jsut start at Halo 2, or play through Halo CE ( never played the CE version).

Hmm its all unlocked from the start.

I wouldn't surprise me, I know the guy who is working on the very first title screen you see when you start the game, he said its behind schedule.
 
Anyone else notice the Amazon release date has changed to November 11? The US Date? I'll actually be pretty annoyed if that's the case as I've booked off the Friday!

Microsoft has also tweaked the release date a little - the Collection will now launch on 11th November for "a majority" of fans around the world, rather than just in the US. The exceptions to the rule are Belgium, which gets hold of the game on 12th November, Japan, which nabs it on the 13th, and France, which claims the prize on the 14th.

They ran out of disk space and were too cheap to make it multiple disks.

Its not that, the game went Gold some time ago as well, its been on the press for a few days now, truth is they are still finishing some bits I bet.

Wont make much different to me personally though.

That makes the whole install abotu what...65GB..bloody hell.

Though they seem to have gone a full worldwide release now!

Does anyone know if the digital version of this is cheaper from other countries? (I'm not with my console at the moment and just wondered.)

It certainly is for the content.

I'd say Halo collection is the best re-relase this gen so far for me personally.

Only because Halo campaigns were so good, and despite me hating online in general the online being one of the more enjoyable ones for me due to the good matchmaking, and co-op on the campaign was absolutely awesome.

It was away before that.
Im not sure maybe about it being "behind", but my friend was given two weeks off for the amount of work his studio ended up having to do for title screens, a lot more than was contracted. Seems about right as they are stating they are working on it up to launch day on all the multiplayer stuff.

Seems like on Digital order you can preload the content anyways., its not a patch, literally a lot of content.
