Halo tv series

So, it's been announced that Steven Spielberg is going to produce a Halo tv series linked with the Xbox One. Personally, I'm so hyped about this. The potential is enormous and the Halo franchise is one of the best for decades. I can hardly wait.

What dio the rest of you think?

P.S. I did search and couldn't see another thread but feel free to delete this one if my enthusiasm over-ruled my searching skills.

This could be good. But Spielberg is responsible for the following rubbish TV series':

Seaquest,
Semper Fi,
Taken,
Falling Skies,
Terra Nova,
The River.

So my expectations are low.

Take that back, Seaquest DSV was awesome!

Falling Skies has it's moments but the rest are rubbish. Wonder if they'll release these through Windows 8 as well, probably not but would be interested in taking a look.

Well it basically Star Trek but underwater. I only watched the first series and I've heard it jumped the shark when they somehow got transported to another planet which was mostly ocean

Not a fan of Halo, but any military sci-fi with a large budget (hopefully!) cannot be a bad thing.

I have heard its going to be on TV, showing to xbox owners isnt going to enlarge the fanbase. Showing it on TV with a much wider audience gives it far more exposure and possibly more sales.
