Halo3 gets reviewed the THE MAN

Quality stuff. :)

On a related note, Games(tm) gave it 9/10. A very good score (most consoles only have a one or two 10-scoring games, the Wii has none) but short of what Bioshock and Gears of War got. Complaints were a short single player campaign, poor story telling and a weak ending. Kudos was given for multiplayer and the ridiculous number of features.
 
I like halo 3 but I nearly died laughing, first time round at least, he is funny! or his illustrator is!!

It is just a shooter with a purple hue. Great review.
FWIW i played the 1st two Halo's and i didn't get the story, i must have been bored during one of the cut scenes and let my mind wander.
 
LOL, that's funny. Made me laugh quite a lot that review. And much as I do like the game, the guy does have a point....about the single player, which is probably just very good at best.

So am I, which is why i'm enjoying Halo 3 on Legendary more than any other fps in years ;)

I love the zero punctuation reviews, but the guy obviously has a pc bias and often talks out of his bum. He rarely comes across as having spent much time with the games he reviews and seems more concerned with being witty than giving a balanced report. I'm sure he'd be the first to agree with this - people like to hear him slagging things off, and that's what he's good at doing.
 
The single player is bound to be pretty dull as Bungie are sensible so spent most of their time doing what they do best. I don't know about anyone else but I only really use campaign mode as a break from multiplayer matches :\
 
Totally agree with everything he said there, he's spot on tbh. "The depth of a spoon" Hahaha, so true.

It's good to see that some people have some sense and have managed to avoid the poison cloud of Halo hype/fanboyism.

But will probably cry with laughter when he's tearing Tomb Raider apart
 
Thorpy: I am not a fan boy, I have not even got the game yet.. I just thought this was pretty dumb :o

We can probably expect one for every 'major' game too ;(

I was rather unimpressed with it suffering dejavu come the end and hes right about the AI and some sections of the earlier parts being among the hardest. Then again i played on normal mode (whimp) but have to say i think i actually enjoyed GOW single player more than this and GOW graphics and audio are still stellar.
