Hi all,

I've got a friend who's hamster keeps depositing his food in the corner of the cage where he does his " Business " , my friend isn't quite sure why he does it and is quite worried...

Any ideas as to why the hamster is doing this ?

This is a serious thread btw !

Seriously, no idea, but mine used to do the same, lived on well past it starting to do it too.

ours changes where it goes toilet/stores its food...sometimes the two are the same place...it might just like it

describe the general diposition of said hamster. What is its condition like?
If this is the only erroneous behaviour on display then it prolly just likes its own smell
Without further description it will be hard to tell mate.
If he's that worried then go straight to a vet
