I'm running the latest version of Handbrake 64 bit on the newest version of Windows 10 Pro 64 bit on an Intel i9 7900X overclocked to 4.4Ghz, and for some strange reason, Handbrake is no longer using 100% CPU.
It used to, and the only thing I can think of that I changed was updating the BIOS / UEFI to the latest version. I also did a complete reinstall of Windows 10 Pro 64 bit and started from scratch.
Does anyone know why Handbrake wouldn't use all the available CPU resources? I think it might be something to do with being in power saving mode or something, but I'm not entirely sure.
Any help would be appreciated.
Edit: Figured it out. I was using H.265 instead of H.264. Feel free to delete this thread. There are so many presets in Handbrake that it is easy to pick the wrong one.
