If your trying to save money - valve sell refurbished steam decks with a warranty for great value. The base 16gb model is only £279 - Unfortunately the UK site is currently out of stock but it could be worth keeping an eye on valves refurbished page

Funny you say that I logged into my account for the first time in over two years just to see what games I had in there and had a nosey at the steam decks and noticed the Refurbs.
I might keep an eye on them, also thought of asking for steam vouchers for Christmas and just wait until then to get one to make it even cheaper assuming you can use them against hardware

you can buy a deck through steam with your steam wallet balance

Yup, that would be ideal but unfortunately I went Xbox which I kind of regret and have gamepass until October 2024.
I don't have room or time for two consoles.
