Guys,

I think they're called handlers? You know when you put a blank disc in and a popup comes up with all the possible programs that you can use and their shortcuts –

How do you get rid of the traces of the ones that have been left behind after you’ve uninstalled the original program – I asked here once before and a small piece of freeware was suggested, but I’ve forgotten what it was called…

Atm, when I put a blank disc in there are about 5 'ghost' application that I no longer use or have installed on the machine!

Cheers,

SW.

Thanks mate - that's sorted the CD/DVD handlers, but I've now noticed a duplicate entry of Photoshop in the direct scanner icon in My Computer?

Only one works so I think it must be from when I upgraded from Elements to CS2 a while back

Any ideas how I'd shift that?

Cheers,

SW.

i'm not familiar with 'direct scanner' at a guess i'd say uninstall both programs, reboot if it's still there, there might be an adobe cleanup program

then re-install
