Handwriting

Worth learning to properly join-up letters (even if you then partially ditch it at a later stage) as you end up thinking entire words as you write them instead of letters, and it gets a bit faster (my own handwriting is sort of a mixture of print and joined-up).

If you're serious, get thee a handwriting-practice book - and just do it over and over again (maybe lay tracing paper on top of the pages to save using them up) until your hand and arm gets the muscle-memory fix on it.

E.g. search for 'cursive' in the jungley store.

Also, a fountain pen or very fluid rollerball is a good idea as you don't need to press so hard, leading to hand-cramps, etc.

I was taught how to write one style, and then when I moved I was taught cursive and told that was the only way to write. When I then moved from there I was told that cursive is wrong and not do it but was never taught how I should be writing. In the end, I've got my own unique (and awfully messy) style... It's not ideal but can't be bothered changing it now.

i read somewhere that you are actually supposed to write with your arm rather than your fingers. So instead of moving your fingers while holding the pen, your arm should be moving around to form the shapes. Your fingers are more agile but your arm can still perform the function you need and it wont tire as fast as your hand.
