Just a quick heads up for those that may have or might accidentally delete images from their memory card. My friend had a party Saturday night and accidentally deleted all the images from her memory card instead of just one out of focus shot. I had a search on the net and found this:

CardRecovery™

It managed to get all the images back and err then some
It only cost's £27.54 which I think is well worth it to recover precious, lost images.

Anyway, thought I would mention it here as its a worthy piece of software to have should you ever need to recover accidentally deleted images. Its very easy to use and will work with any memory card. I tried the normal data recovery software but it couldn't find images etc. The evaluation version will allow you to see what can be recovered so you can try before you buy.

£27.54! Noooooooo ...

I put a load of them in the sticky for Windows, Linux and Mac - and 3 of them are free! Recuva and PCInspector file recovery are my picks for use with Windows.

Ah balls, oh well mate she was happy that I managed to get them back for her and the look on her face made it all worth while. I did try some recovery software but all it found was a load of checksum rubbish. Live and learn I guess :(

/* runs off to the Windows, Linux and Mac section :p :D

I meant the photography sticky, but I put different recovery solutions in for the different platforms.

PS. I also say post the dubious photos ;) :p

Nothing dubious tbh but certainly came as a surprize lol. Plus she is my Medical training boss so had best not post anything that could see me being struck off lol :p :D
