Hanging on Boot.........

My machine has just started to hang on the following screen. Just sits there with the cursor flashing. Hitting any F key will then send it merrily booting as normal.

I've tied re-installing the Sil Raid drivers, but still an annoyance. Any ideas please?

Would this be better off in the Hard Drives section? If a friendly passing Don thinks so, please would you do the honours. Ta.

have u tried prowermax from the maxtor website?

My pc was doing prety much the same thing every once in a while, turns out it was the HDD at fault!

Oh and another thing u get a floppy disk with your motherboard somtimes with drivers relating to raid, so if you havent tried installing them its worth a shot!

Mmmm, which HDD, I have a pair raided, or do you mean the array misbehaving as a single drive?. Also the Sata/Raid drivers were installed (F6 option) when I first built the machine, and have since been upgraded.
