Found out that I have got some studs in the right positions for the mount, looks like it might be possible 


). The mounting points have to spread the load onto the surface to which it is attached. Bear in mind the torque on each screw will be quite high. Ideally the best way would be to have mounting points on each corner of the screen - that'd spead the load out quite nicely. If you can find a solid mounting point for each attachement point you might be able to get away with it.

Not only does it look good, but it means you are cutting a hole where the TV will go, so then can fit a supporting beam of some sort behind to fix it to.
