Diwali in Leicester when I was at Uni was great, shame there isn't a public Holi event as that looks fun.

Of course it does, anytime a muslim/islam thread turns up...all hell breaks loose lol. The last Eid thread we had was completely de-railed within the first page as people argued about the significance of our Eid just gone.

Not just unfortunate but sad and pathetic.

Anyhow now is not the time to talk about such matters, looking forward to some fireworks tonight around my area although i bought a few myself but they are for the wife as its her Bday today.

Happy Diwali! Watched a really interesting programme earlier about the swastika and it's meaning to hindu's shame hitler hijacked it
