My straight brother is going to it with his girlfriend... What I weird thing to do lol.
Tomorrow is the main day.
Is it really necessary of a thread, don't see the point.

As a straight man, it's honestly one of the most fun things I've ever done. The atmosphere is amazing, everyone's in a good mood, there's zero hostility, the stand up shows outside the pubs by the "ladies" are usually absolutely hilarious, it really is a fantastic day out, I highly recommend it. You do need to be 100% secure with your sexuality though.
And 100% willing to realise it's been taken over by unscrupulous profiteers.
Welcome to every event ever? But to the LGBTQ community, please be in peoples faces as much as possible. The tears will sustain rivers for years to come.
I genuinely think I'd be embarrassed of such an event as a gay guy.
Why? It isn't so much about the parade, more about the entire atmosphere.

As said the the other thread, all that would do is increase hostility and be counter-productive. Even push moderate people over to being ticked off with the whole thing, surely not what you want right?
Because it's just cringey as hell. Everyone walking about half naked holding dildos and ****. Call me a prude, but it ain't for me.![]()
), can't say I've seen dildos all that much though.Welcome to every event ever? But to the LGBTQ community, please be in peoples faces as much as possible. The tears will sustain rivers for years to come.
