Hard Disk Advice

Hi All.

I've currently got a single Western Digital Caviar 250GB 16MB Cache SATA-II.

What I'd like to know is at the moment I have it running in the BIOS as native IDE is this right? Should it be running as RAID or ACHI or something, it's quick but im not sure if i've got it setup right.

you won't be running RAID with a single hard drive mate. RAID is only applicable with two or more HDD's. and i believe AHCI is also something to do with RAID arranged drives. neither will be any use to you.
