Hard Drive activity light

Hi
I have Asus P5b deluxe mobo
I only have sata-11 hard drives and was wondering if there was any way of them working with the Hard Drive activity light.

Also I am on bios 804 .Would I gain anything by upgrading to the latest bios.

The Hard Drive activity light plugs into the motherboard. If you already have it plugged into the correct header, and it isnt working, then turn it around. Its an LED and might be around the wrong way.

I thought that only worked with IDE hard drives.
So the fact that I only have sata-11 hard drives and it's not lighting up is proberly due to the connection being the wrong way round.

It works with any HDD even SATA/ESATA.

updating the firm ware should make mobo more stable
