Since my backup drive (lacie external firewire/usb) is dying, I need a new and reliable external hard drive for backups. I am running a macbook pro so ideally it will have a firewire800 interface for convenience. Can someone make me some recommendations?
I am wary of integrated external drives now as my lacie nearly cost me a lot of data (suffice to say I will never be solely reliant on a single drive backup again!
), so was considering buying a 2.5" sata drive and get an enclosure for it.
Any guidance, recommendations, or advice would be extremely helpful!
