Popped round to my brothers house and while i was there he was benchmarking his new built Z690 alderlake build with a whole bunch of super fast M.2 drives in it along with a 3 year old sata drive Samsung evo QVO 1TB (just forgotten the model number) but 3 or 4 yrs old
all the M.2 drives were benching at the manufaturers specs roughly but for some reason the QVO drive is benching at over 12700mb and slightly less in the read speeds
which to be honest has me baffled as to whats going on
the rated speeds are mid 500's so how can it show those kind of speeds in 3 different benchmark platforms and we benchmarked them about 4 times each all giving the same results
so answers on a postcard please as to what is going on here i am presuming some kind of firmware glltch
