Hard drive bungee mod

hi guys,

have any of u done this with your drives? can u post pics of what u have done and let me know where you got the bungee cord from.

I got mine from B&Q, along with the 12.5mm hose that I use for watercooling.

They're in the same section.

I'm gona try it with sewing elastic, it's thinner and easier to work with then bungee cord, although I don't know a specific place to get it from, fabric shops should do them so gona have to find one, maybe TJ hughes will have, I'll see tomorrow(or today rather >.<)

NP - They might as well have no website, I agree it's useless....

The one I went to was a huge B&Q - I think it said "warehouse" or something like that on the side. They may not sell it in smaller branches...

If you are ever in Bristol it's the one near Knowle.

well heres what mine looks like so far:

used some 5mm bungee cord from my local focus £1.29/M its a tight fit 4mm would have been better.

You can get sewing machine elastic delivered for £2 from choiceful it's a kitchenware store.

^ Looking good - That looks like the exact same stuff they sell at B&Q...

I quite like it being a tight fit, it seems to stay in place better (oo err).
