Hey guys, just after a bit of advice on the best set up.

My brother has had a 80gig Seagate Barracuda - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-123-SE&groupid=701&catid=14&subcat=167 - For a while now.

He has ordered a Western Digital caviar 320gig - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-130-WD&groupid=701&catid=14&subcat=768 - Which will be arriving tomorrow, due to needing more storage space.

Now I was wondering if it would be best to:

A) Use the 80 gig for windows and programs/games, then the 320 gig for storage of music, movies, random files e.t.c

B) Set them up in RAID (RAID 0?) to benefit from faster access?

The Computer is mainly used for gaming and movie rendering.

Thanks for any help.

RAID-0 is basically out of the question due to the massive difference in sizes of the drives, let alone the make and model.

The 320GB drive will probably be a fair bit faster than the Seagate, so it might be preferable to have the operating system on that drive and use the Seagate as a working drive for video rendering or simply for storage.
