Hard drive configurations?

Hi All,

I need some advice on Hard drive configurations, my currently configuration was;

256GB Samsung evo 860 - System Drive
2TB 3.5 HDD 64MB cache- App +Data
1TB 3.5 HDD 16MB Cache- Backup

However my 2TB HDD decided to fail yesterday so I'm thinking of swapping my OS drive for either a new SSD, M2 or an m2 NVMe and using the current SSD as my app drive.

Any recommendations on what to go for SSD, M2 or m2 NVMe for an OS drive?

Sorry to hear your drive went down. Generally unless you're regularly moving around very large files, the performance difference between SATA and NVMe isn't considered to be enough to be cost-effective. So probably just go with as large of a SATA SSD as you feel comfortable investing in.
