As my wave master case does not allow me to fit a removable hard drive caddy, due to depth restrictions, I was wondering if anyone knew of a piece of hardware that can be installed into a PC tower, possible similar to a fan controller, that has the ability to control / switch on and off a second or third hard drive, e.g for use in running a second operating system?

If you want to stick with internal disks then some kind of boot manager software might be a better bet. Alternatively you could go for something like the Icy Dock MB559US-1S, I believe it comes with an eSATA backplate that connects to an internal SATA port on the mobo so performance is good.
