Hard drive died ?

My 1gb Hdd has started clicking and wont post ! the drive is about 4-5 years old and is just used to store games on as the main drive is an SSD and i also have a 9 year old drive for storing pictures letters etc

I just upgraded the motherboard and cpu in the last month ! is this just coincidence ?

Rule #1 of hard drives : Never trust a hard drive

Buy multiple hard drives and backup data you care about at least once.

Personally, I like to have a minimum of 3 copies. +cloud copies if feasible
