Hard Drive failing?

Evening all,

I've been downloading some things from iTunes and I noticed when I tried to play some games that it took forever and in some cases it would never load.

Checked Task Manager and the Disk Usage for D:\ (Where I store my Games & iTunes) is pretty much at 100%.

If I stop the download then it goes back to 0%.

I loaded just the game and the same thing happened with 100% usage.

Tried just loading Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 which is a old game and should not take up 100% disk usage but it does!

Is this a sign that I should consider getting another hard drive?

Have a go at running HD Tune, this will show performance of the drive:

HDTune stats look pretty normal. Have you checked the stats in Resource Monitor with iTunes running/downloading and idle?

Switching SATA cable is a good one to check too.
