Hard Drive for TV?

Hi guys,

Nothing special here, just a regular LG TV with timeshift.

Is there a particular drive most suitable? Not really looking at storing recordings just want pause.

Happy to get an SSD for latency/speed, but do we have a favourite external drive brand/disk?

I just have an m2 drive in a USB enclosure, think it is a sata drive. Just use anything you have spare if you are only going to use it occasionally.

I use an old western digital usb2 1tb drive, works fine for timeshift and recording programs on my hisense tv.
