Hey guys, A strange one this one.

My girlfriends laptop has a hard drive with 50GB usable, running Windows 7.

However Windows is saying that only 11MB is free. After checking the properties of all the files, I can only find 30GB of stuff.

I've had a look at restore points, these are turned off. I've cleared the internet cache, deleted cookies and history. I've adjusted the page file, but all to no avail.

Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this? I know the machine is virus free as I've just given it a good scan with NoD32.

Cheers!

Hibernation file (c:\hiberfil.sys)?

Have you deleted the old restore points as well as just turning System Restore off?

All sorted now. Had somehow managed to get 19GB worth of garbage in the TEMP folder.

CCleaner sorted that out though :)
