Hard drive help needed

Rite i am in need of a sata hard drive but have no idea what to go for. My budget is around £50, but i am running vista and a abit ul8 mobo, will be using it to hold my extensive game collection so i need as mutch space poss. Any help and advice greatly appreciated

The Seagate 7200.10 320gb is likely to be your best bet at the moment, however it is on This Week Only so order before next Thursday.

well anyway's I googled your board and by the looks of the pictures it has two SATA ports so the drive that Semi suggested would be a great purchase.

looks pretty good would there be any probs with it runing with vista like drives

It shouldn't need any drivers if it is a relatively new motherboard, however if it does you can get them from the Abit website.

got the hard drive but cant get it to work, it just blue screens everytime, i cant find any vista drivers for it so i dont no what todo has anyone got any ideas

How far have you got in the installation process? When you say it blue screens, could you be a bit more specific please.

well it would start to load windows then just blue screen, i have tryed installing all the drivers on the ati website but they dont work, i tryed to leave it disconected but for some strange reason it mucked up my vista install so nothing worked at all but ive just reformated my hard drive and so far its goin ok am no formating it. it has taken me 2 days to sort it so glad its now sortin its self out, ile let u no what happends, thanks
