Hi guys,
I've got a hard drive that's failed. It shows up in Explorer but has no size associated with it. If I go to properties, tools and try error checking then I get the message "the disk check could not be performed because Windows can't access the disk".
I've tried running the chkdsk /f command as well and get the message "Unable to determine volume version and state. CHKDSK aborted".
What should I try next? Bear in mind that I have data on there that I'd like to try and recover.
Cheers,
Jed
