i have been seeing a lot of these in my event viewer

The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk1\D.

A parity error was detected on \Device\Ide\IdePort0.

The system failed to flush data to the transaction log. Corruption may occur.

The device 'IC35L120AVV207-0' (IDE\DiskIC35L120AVV207-0________________________V24OA66A\5&19606f25&0&0.1.0) disappeared from the system without first being prepared for removal.

I have been having trouble with my motherboard look at my other post http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17726035

The problem i am getting is sumtimes if i am using that drive, windows will start to act realy slow then i see in my task bar a popup saying windows found new hardware, which is actualy this hard drive IC35L120AVV207 hitatchi 120gb ide.I also was getting slowdown when i boot windows, i would get past the bios check and it would sit on a black screen with - flashing in the top corner then around 30secounds later xp screen would appear.I tryed changing the jumper settings incase i had them set wrong and it did exactly the same so i returned the jumpers to the old setting which was slave.when i rebooted there was no hang anymore and it loaded windows straight away.So i thought great everything is working now untill i started getting delayed write failed when sending large files to that hard drive. So i thought i would double check the ide cable and jumpers on hard drive, everything seemed fine when i checked and booted windows again and retryed sending the file. This time i got no delayed write failed and since saturday the drive has been fine untill today when i started getting around 20 of these errors appearing in event viewer "The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable. Please run the chkdsk utility on the volume E" i ran chkdisk and it found no errors.

when the happends the drive basicly stops responding i havent had a chance to check using hitatchi software but i assume the drive is dead.I did run chk disk found no errors and when i reboot the pc works fine for abit until i use that drive then it starts to fail again.

i thought i would change the ide cable to check to see if its that.i changed it and was still the same so i put old cable back on and now pc doesnt detect no hard drive if i have both hdd's connected so i thought i would try that hard drive in my old pc.I put it in and its working fine so i am thinking its the motherboard on other pc thats deing
